Brief History
The PNG Unitech Alumni Association was launched on the 5th April 2018 by Hon. Richard Maru, OBE,MP at the Lae International Hotel in Lae.
On the 2nd March 2019, the 1st Annual General Meeting was held in which the Executive Committee Members was elected for the Association. Members elected to the Executive Committee included:
- President – Mr. Ernie Gangloff
- Vice President – Mr. Brian Alois
- Treasurer – Ms. Aina Davis
- Secretary – Mr. Christopher Dobunaba
Our Vision
To be the premier Alumni program in the South Pacific. This will be earned through the success of our programs in helping to promote our university as the leading science and technological university in Papua New Guinea and the region.
Mission Statement
To network, inspire, engage and promote opportunities for our alumni, our students and our university.
Association Hierarchy
The Association hierarchy consists of members that are elected during the AGM to form the executive committee. The Patron, that is the Vice Chancellor of the institution, oversees the executive committee, chapters and networking.
